Schutterhof Ingolstadt in Ingolstadt

The Schutterhof is somewhat hidden in a historical area near the city center of Ingolstadt. During the lockdown, as everywhere, only takeaways are offered. We therefore tried the Christmas offer goose with dumplings and red cabbage. The portion was plentiful, the goose tasted excellent, the skin was fried crispy, it was worth it. At € 15 per serving, the price / performance ratio was also excellent.

So the location is super very quiet even when there is more going on. Bier Nordbräu and HB. Food is not special but steadfast. Very friendly staff. Tables and the toilet clean.

Not only the nice staff was the big hit during my visit, but also the good ambience. This restaurant has real potential to become my new hangout. The decoration on the tables and throughout the restaurant is sensible and stylish. The toilets are always clean and all in all the restaurant gives a nice impression. As far as I am concerned, my partner and I have already ordered the whole menu up and down. The meal was brought in extremely quickly.

Always worth a visit. Nice ambience - lots of space. Drinks and food at a fair price. Self service. Absolute highlight: chilled beer mugs;)

A beer garden as you would expect. Beer is good, so is food. The corona problem also seems to be solved quite well here.

The location is very nice! However you pay for non-alcoholic drinks you draw yourself, with taste & gas missing. But yu still have to pay for that. Same for wine spritzer. Afterwards, you have to return the glasses yourself. No service at the place.

Playing ground would be better

Amazing Biergarten! A lot of space, wonderful atmosphere, sunlight until the sun goes down and nice and colorful lights by night. From my point of view, best Biergarten in Ingolstadt city.

I can only recommend this place! The table decoration on the seats and in the whole place is decent and tasteful. The toilet is always clean and all in all the restaurant gives a good impression. The waiters are very gracious and very accommodating every time. That makes me absolutely happy with every visit. As for me, I would have preferred to try it out first, but then there would not have been the slightest space for the unique dish.

Great atmosphere. Very nice for families too. Expand the playground a bit, then the older children will also be happy.

A typical beer garden in Ingolstadt with a huge open space where people can sit and enjoy their beers. There is also a kitchen which serve good food while also providing good service. During the world cup or euros, projector screens are setup and Public Viewing is possible. There have also been times when they have telecasted German movies. And recently there was a wine fest. There is also a place where the kids can play and hence a good place for a family visit as well.

Great Biergarten located around the old city walls which gives this Biergarten a nice atmosphere. Typical self service. Beer is good food is ok. Prices for the food are slightly to high.

This is one of the better beer gardens in the area. Playground, toys and trampoline for the kids. Unique location between a couple old town walls makes it a must visit.

Great beer in maß and halbe sizes! Ordered the typical schnitzel with pommes after a few drinks and it was ready within a few minutes. Plenty of room for large groups to talk, eat, and watch football. We really enjoyed the experience at Schutterhof!

Really good place to eat something or to drink a beer. I didn't know that Ingolstadt had such a wonderful and hidden place!

Wonder full and family friendly Biergarden with lots of space for your kids to play

Lovely, original place. Good beer and food in traditional self-service manner. Quiet and protected, although in such central location to the city center.

Not much to say, very nice beer garden with a quite unique atmosphere in the historic centre of Ingolstadt. Didn't try the food though, so I cannot say anything about that. But the beer (Tegernseer) was excellent. And the (self-)service and facilities were good, too. Recommend!
